The goal and long-term management plan for white-tailed deer within the Anoka County Park System include inventorying and closely monitoring deer population densities through winter aerial surveys and maintaining deer population densities between 15 and 20 deer per square mile. Not only does Metro Transit offer its regular bus routes, but it also has Dial-a-Ride services and uses the voluntary transportation network, through which Anoka County volunteers can transport seniors and local veterans.
